Oleksandr Kozlov is a senior expert at the e-Governance Academy with eight years of experience in the fields of European integration and digital transformation. He has worked in various Ministries and the NGO sector in Ukraine. His responsibilities included coordinating Ukraine’s efforts towards the mutual recognition of trust services with the EU and harmonizing the electronic identification sector with EU requirements. Oleksandr led several pilot projects for cross-border recognition of digital signatures, resulting in the first real-life use cases. Additionally, he is responsible for delivering recommendations on electronic trust services and electronic identification, aiming for an agreement based on alignment with EU legislation and standards. Oleksandr also has experience in drafting national legislation in the sphere of electronic governance and state-wide strategic documents.
