Alexandru Corețchi is a seasoned professional in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. With over 20 years in IT and more than a decade in quality management systems and information security, he currently directs the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC). Mr. Corețchi holds a degree in Information Systems and Computers and a Master’s in Computers.
His career is marked by significant contributions to strategic national projects. These include fully digitizing border area permit processes, energy supervision, and patient services for medical imaging, as well as automating the issuance of various fishing permits.
Alexandru Corețchi’s expertise extends to implementing and enhancing Integrated Management Systems in Information Quality and Security, aligned with international standards. His roles involve ensuring business continuity, leading security incident responses, risk assessment and remediation, and maintaining robust security controls.
