Adão de Almeida, born on May 13, 1979 in the province of Luanda, is an outstanding legal professional with a brilliant academic career. He graduated and obtained a Master’s degree in Law from the prestigious Faculty of Law of the Agostinho Neto University (UAN), in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, standing out in the area of Legal-Political Sciences. Throughout his career, Adão de Almeida demonstrated a deep dedication to public service and teaching. Between 2005 and 2008, he worked as a Professor of Constitutional Law at the Lusíada University of Angola, contributing to the training of future professionals in Law and International Relations. His expertise was also recognized in 2005, when he played the role of Consultant to the Minister of Territorial Administration.
In 2010, he began his government journey as Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration for Institutional and Electoral Affairs, culminating in his appointment as Secretary of State for Territorial Administration for Institutional Affairs, where he stood out until 2017. His leadership and commitment led him to assume the position of Minister of Territorial Administration and State Reform in 2017, a position he held with excellence until 2020. Subsequently, in 2020, he was appointed as Minister of State and Chief of Civil House of the President of the Republic, demonstrating his leadership and management capacity at different levels of government.
