Meick Sandro da Costa Lopes Afonso, graduated in Computer Engineering, currently leads the Institute of Administrative Modernization (IMA), which operates under the Superintendence of the Presidency of the Republic of Angola. IMA plays an essential role in technological support for the Modernization of Public Administration, as part of the State Reform and Electronic Governance in Angola. Meick Afonso has extensive experience in leadership in the technology and information sector and in Public Administration, including stints as General Director of the National Institute of the Information Society, National Director of the Information Society and Meteorology, and Director of the Information Technology Office of the Justice ministry. Recognized for leading technological projects in Angola with excellence, he now leads digitalization initiatives at IMA, such as the Interoperability Platform, the Single Window for the Provision of Non-In-Person Services for Public Services and the Digital Transition Agenda for Public Administration. Its strategic vision and commitment to innovation drive the modernization and efficiency of Public Administration.
